In this podcast, it is our honor to bring you inspiring healing stories directly from Radical Remission Survivors themselves, as well as from the amazing doctors and healers they work with.
A Radical Remission is a statistically unlikely remission from cancer or another disease. This can fall into 3 categories:
Category 1 is someone who heals without any conventional medicine.
Category 2 is someone who first tries conventional medicine but it unfortunately doesn’t work, so they’re forced switch to alternative methods, which do lead to a remission; and
Category 3 is someone who uses conventional and alternative treatments at the same time in order to overcome a “dire” prognosis, which is anything with a less than 25% five-year survival rate.
In other words, a radical remission survivor is anyone who is beating the odds.
As a reminder, the Radical Remission Project is not against conventional medicine and we fully support an integrative approach to healing.
Most of all, we hope this Stories That Heal podcast will inspire and educate you along your healing journey.

Welcome to the Stories That Heal Podcast

The Radical Remission Project “Stories That Heal” Podcast is dedicated to sharing true stories of people who have overcome the odds of their diagnosis and the personal experiences witnessed by their healers. We hope these stories will inspire you to become the leader of your healing journey!

The Radical Remission Project was born out of Kelly A. Turner, PhD’s dissertation research on Radical Remission. As Dr. Turner began the research as part of her PhD from the University of California at Berkeley, she realized that the opinions of two groups of people were typically missing from the 1,000+ cases of radical remissions published in medical journals – the survivors themselves and their alternative healers.

Because conventional medical doctors do not currently have an explanation for why radical remissions’s occur, Dr. Turner decided to ask these two ignored groups what they thought could lead to a radical remission. Her dissertation research involved a trip around the world during which she traveled to over 10 different countries in order to interview Radical Remission survivors and their alternative healers about their modalities for healing cancer. Since then, her research has continued, and Dr. Turner has now analyzed over 1,500 cases of radical remissions, including those using an integrative approach.

The findings of her research are summarized in the New York Times and Amazon bestsellers, Radical Remission and Radical Hope.
